Wigan and Leigh Hospice
Wigan & Leigh Hospice has supported adults across the Wigan borough with expert palliative care tailored to each individual. Whether at home, in a care setting, or in our 14-bed Inpatient Unit in Hindley, we’re here to provide comfort, dignity, and support when it matters most. Our care is shaped by close partnerships with GPs, the District Nursing Service, care home teams, students, and other health and social care professionals – working together to ensure every patient receives the right care, in the right place, at the right time.

Shop with purpose - support your local hospice We have ten charity shops across the Wigan borough, selling quality secondhand goods donated by the local community. By shopping with us or donating things you no longer need, you’re helping us to deliver outstanding palliative and end-of-life care to the people of this borough. We’re your local hospice.
