Alternative Provider Collaborative (APC) Service Delivery

Members deliver NHS‐commissioned or health/social care services under the APC umbrella, offering alternatives to traditional public providers.

Primary & Urgent Care, Cancer Screening, Sexual Health, Social Prescribing, LGBTQ+ Advice, Support for Sex Workers, Drug & Alcohol Services, Carers Support

A wide range of specialist services focused on prevention, access, equity, and responding to underserved groups.

Membership Support & Networking

They offer support services to member organisations (charities, social businesses) including coordination, advocacy, engagement, and capacity to operate within public systems.

Open Sharing & Best Practice Dissemination

They promote an “open source” approach—sharing ideas, data, lessons and methods across member organisations to accelerate learning.

Innovation & Piloting of Interventions

GMAPF supports testing new models of care, interventions and service designs to address inequalities and improve system responses.

Partnership & System Integration

The federation helps coordinate between providers, the VCSE sector, and public systems (health, social care) to develop more joined-up, efficient services.
