What we offer

CORE conducts in-depth feasibility assessments for renewable energy projects, helping communities determine which technologies (e.g., solar, wind, heat pumps) are viable and how to implement them effectively.
Community Engagement & Co-design Workshops
Facilitated workshops that involve residents, local groups, and stakeholders in the design and decision-making process — ensuring projects reflect community needs and values.
Community Shares & Ownership Models
CORE supports local investment opportunities, allowing residents to buy community shares and co-own renewable energy assets (such as solar farms).
Renewable Energy Employment
Technical design and delivery of renewable systems (solar PV, wind turbines, heat pumps, etc.) on community buildings or land, aiming to reduce bills and generate long-term community income.
Reports/Research & Policy Work
CORE publishes research and guidance on community energy governance, financing, and sustainability best practices — such as the Worldwide Community-Owned Renewable Energy report.
