What we offer

Connecting homeowners with trained contractors

Through its programme People Powered Retrofit, Carbon Co-op trains local builders / contractors in retrofit skills, then connects homeowners with suitably trained tradespeople to deliver retrofit works

Training & skills development for contractors

Carbon Co-op provides training to contractors: courses include a four-day in-depth retrofit course, shorter sessions on eco-refurbishment topics, and on-site “toolbox talks.”

Whole-house retrofit advice & support

Carbon Co-op helps homeowners plan and carry out home-energy retrofit (e.g. insulation, air-tightness, efficient heating) — often using a “whole-house” approach to increase efficiency and lower carbon emissions.

Support for social housing / tenants / registered providers

They also work in contexts beyond owner-occupiers: producing guidance for tenants, registered housing providers, and delivery partners.
