Back On Track
Back on Track is a Manchester-based charity that supports adults facing multiple disadvantage — such as homelessness, addiction, mental-health issues or criminal justice histories — offering rehabilitative support, training and life-skills to help them rebuild stability and inclusion.
What we offer
Life Skills & Employability Courses
Workshops and courses including digital/IT skills, functional skills (e.g. maths/English), citizenship, CV writing, job-search support and employability training.
Well-being & Creative Activities Programmes
Offerings include wellbeing courses, creative arts, mentoring, mental-health support and rehabilitation programmes for individuals recovering from addiction, homelessness or offending backgrounds.
One-to-One Progression / Mentoring & Resettlement Support
Personalised support to help people with complex needs (e.g. substance misuse, criminal justice history, homelessness) with reintegration, housing support, advice, life planning and ongoing case-work.
Work Clubs & Employment-Support Services
ailored help with job applications, CV building, employability coaching, and access to volunteering or work opportunities aiming to reduce barriers to employment for people with convictions or social disadvantage.
Training & Consultancy for Organisations (Fair Recruitment / Working with Disadvantaged Groups)
Provides specialist training for other organisations on topics like “working with people with convictions,” fair recruitment practices, and supporting people with multiple disadvantage.
